The goal of Winston-Salem Forest Bathing is to provide restorative physical, mental and spiritual health benefits through the practice of Forest Therapy.

Numerous research studies worldwide over the course of the past 28 years confirm the health benefits of forest bathing; these include reduced blood pressure, anxiety, depression and cortisol levels, elevated mood and improved immune system response, sharpened mental focus, creativity, and problem solving.

Our therapeutic services may be booked for a standard three hour walk, in addition to day long retreats on private land. All include guided walks for individuals or groups including corporate retreats in the Triad area. Our services can be provided near your work location.

Winston Salem Forest Bathing has retained the permission to conduct guided walks in several local natural areas and is currently establishing a sanctuary forest in the Triad area.

Marc Farrow, is a physical therapist as well as a Forest Therapy Guide trained through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (ANFT) with a background in integrative approaches in restorative therapy. For the past 23 years, Marc has provided services to individuals of all ages and with all levels of physical, neurological, emotional and cognitive difficulties. He looks forward to joining you in the forest and introducing you to the restorative benefits of Forest Therapy.
